Hibiscus tea can be used to compliment any occasion.
Here are some fun party recipes for you to try!
- 6 hibiscus tea bags or 6 tablespoons of dried hibiscus,
- ½ cup of honey,
- 5 cups of boiling water
Steep for 10 minutes and then discard tea bags or the dried flowers
Add 1 cup fresh lime juice, 3 cups of cold water and, as an option, 1 cup of rum or high-quality vodka. Chill until cold and serve
- 2 shots of chilled Hibiscus drink
- 1 shot Tequila
- shot of simple syrup
- juice from 1/2 a lime
- lime wedge for garnish
Pour the Hibiscus drink, tequila, simple syrup and lime juice into a chilled cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled margarita glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
